What types of projects can I post?

Meaflow covers five areas: manufacturing and industrial subcontracting (machining, sheet metal, 3D printing, electronics…), building and construction works (including solar and charging points), cleaning and maintenance (including concierge services and waste), transport and logistics, and business services (IT, security, fire safety, events, printing, photo and video). You choose the trade that matches your need when you post the request; for a need that is not listed, choose “Other service”.

Is it free to post a request?

Yes. Signing up and posting requests are free, and no commission is taken on contracts agreed between buyers and suppliers.

Is Meaflow only for businesses?

Yes. Meaflow connects businesses: the terms of use exclude private individuals. A cleaning need, for example, comes from a concierge service, a hotel, a property manager or a company, not from a private home.

How do I choose the right supplier?

Compare quotes (price excl. VAT, lead time, message), view profiles (past work, equipment, reviews, verified SIRET) and ask your questions before selecting a supplier. You chat with them via the built-in messaging.

Does Meaflow check insurance and qualifications?

No. Meaflow checks companies’ SIRET, which earns the “Verified business” badge. Insurance, qualifications and authorisations are not checked: ask for the certificates relevant to your project (professional insurance, ten-year warranty for construction works, certifications…) before selecting a supplier.

Are my drawings protected?

Drawings and documents attached to a request are only accessible to signed-in members: they have no public address. You can also state that a non-disclosure agreement is required before any details are shared.

Does Meaflow play a part in the contract or payment?

No. Meaflow is a matchmaking platform: the contract, payment and invoicing are settled directly between the buyer and the supplier.
